Just check out the latest test offering from Fiat. Yep, its a 135 BHP 0-62 in 5.8 pocket rocket Fiat 500 Arbarth
Reputedly hiding a 1.4 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, this lovely little hot hatch looks set to apply pressure to the current range of available hot hatches in europe.
Judging by the video, this car is nearing completion so, fingers crossed - we should be seeing the production model in 2008.

We get continuously asked if we sell ex lease vehicles. I am going to clarify the subject.
99.99% of the time, you will get your lease car from a leasing broker of some description. Leasing brokers (generally speaking) do not own the vehicle, you are merely introduced to a host finance company whom owns the vehicle.
At the end of a lease contract, the vehicle is collected and usually taken directly to the auctions.
This is done for ease of disposal. The finance company dont like to keep the vehicle for very long, so they are either taken directly to someone like british car auctions or distributed into car supermarkets and large dealer groups.
Normally, it is difficult to purchase an ex lease vehicle because they are already sold, or commited before the origional contract starts.

Fiat are still at it, with their Grande Punto, I have seen silly prices on a lease.
For years now, Fiat’s entry level car has been a fantastic opportunity on a lease. They heavily subsidise the lease cost and, as always carry a superb residual value.
As a result, the lease costs can be absolutley superb. I am not going into exactly how much or going to promote anyones prices, but its quite often that you will see a grande punto for less than a hundred pounds.
Coupled with the fact these things come with metallic paint, power steering (with the girlie button), electric windows and central locking. It would seem a superb first car (new driver) or additional car to a family.
