Audi TT TDi

Friday, April 4th, 2008

With diesel technology pushing the boundaries of the current car market ever further it’s no surprise that major manufacturers are releasing more and more models in high powered diesel guises. The benefits being found in all areas including fuel economy and taxation. So Audi’s recent release (apart from the R8 TDi ‘Le-Man’ style super car diesel) could find its way onto many driveways in the UK… the TT TDi Quattro!

Acclaimed at 170bhp, 140mph, 50mpg, 350nm of torque, EU5 compliant at over 20 per cent more CO2-efficient than petrol equivalent.. and priced at a little over £26K?! a very strong contender for the best sport car alternative!

Residual values have been set my all major funding companies, making the TT TDi a very affordable and efficient vehicle to lease.

Orders can now be placed for Summer 2008 delivery! I’d expect the order books to fill up very quickly!

Audi: Cars To Suit All Needs

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Often seen as the little brother in the German motor industry Audi was dwarfed by the behemoths of Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes. Today it produces cars that match these giants in quality as well as performance. As a consumer it is clear that these cars represent value for money without compromise on luxury and great design. Who however, is foolish enough to buy a car brand new when there are so many approved used Audi dealerships out there? With vehicle depreciation as it is, is makes no financial sense to buy cars straight off the production line.

Advisably when purchasing; approved used Audi dealerships should be utilised, their system of checking cars ensures that used cars are as close to new as possible and most importantly approved Audi dealers give peace of mind in terms of safety. The multi point check system contains 110 different criteria and delivers a written inspection report for your perusal before you buy. Any issues that arise from this checking system are remedied by approved Audi technicians, making sure your used car is of the highest quality possible.

The Audi range covers all needs and aspects; whether it is a sporty model or a family estate, approved Audi dealers can provide a car to suit all appetites. In the smaller end of the market the A2 offers a practical vehicle that will suit small families. The Audi A3 on the other hand offers a hatchback with a racier engine and gives an awesome driving experience whilst retaining practicality.

For those looking for a larger car, approved used Audis are perfect; with the A 4, 5, 6, and 8 the Audi range presents great saloon options. All these models are beautifully styled and contain technology that would not look out of place in an aircraft cockpit. Many of the models are available in cabriolet versions ensuring that the wind will rush through your hair whilst sitting in comfort.

If you are looking for a sporty used car however the TT is the car for you coming in both hardtop and cabriolet its Quattro system puts the power down on the road and gives superb handling attributes. Its drop dead gorgeous looks ensure that the car will turn heads and create the right impression.

Approved Audi dealerships also offer other sporty models, known as the ‘S’ models. These are essentially the models from the normal range with tightened suspension and bigger engines. The fact they make S versions of their estate cars should be a bonus to dads who want to push it a little on the school run.

Two cars that will not be available in approved used Audi dealerships yet are the A5 and sumptuous R8. The A5 offers a beautifully designed saloon that represents Audi’s forward thinking attitude. The R8 however is a mid engine supercar in its own right, the striking styling twinned with a rip roaring V8 engine is sure to bring an unrivalled driving experience. This car is full of technology that has filtered down Audi’s racing division; if you are lucky enough to find a used one in a couple of years, snap it up.

Audi have been making cars for more than 100 years and the knowledge is visible in the quality of their models. Their endurance is renowned and are perfect for buying second hand. When visiting an approved used Audi dealership the guarantees come thick and fast whilst the after care lives up to these guarantees. If buying a used car a visit to your local Audi dealership is strongly advisable.

Audi RS6 Avant Article

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Hey, are you looking for a sports car with glassy looks? or you might just want to settle with a family wagon? How about if you get both blended in one? Sounds too good to be true. Right ? But folks, I bet, you can find out that this four-wheeler thing is surely going to drive you crazy. You might say this is the same Audi S6 version with little twists and turns, but I tell you what, it is fully loaded for performance. When you desire of getting a joyride with your family on a holiday, the Audi RS6 Avant is the next best thing to have happened to you. And this is no joke folks.

Take a close look at the hood, you will find a V-10 engine derived from the likes of Lamborghini for direct fuel injection. And not to neglect those two turbo chargers, mind you it jumps from 435 horsepower to a mind blowing 550 horsepower in a blink of an eye. You would still say you don’t want a drive!! I am sure you are in mood for some fun now and if I am not wrong, you must be thinking to take a test drive and I tell you what, when you like it, get an Audi on rent for yourself if you don’t plan to buy it right away, and enjoy spending quality time driving your family on weekends.

Okay let me tell you as far as the features of this “fast and furious” goes it has a Tiptronic transmission as well as that special Audi Quattro. While the R6 would have made it from zero to sixty miles in a meager 5.1 seconds, the RS6 Avant has slashed it down to 4 seconds flat to hit the 60 mile mark. And guess what, this car comes without a speed restrictor. That means, it can well go beyond and perform steadily at 155 mph carp. With the suspension just sitting firm at its place, it makes more sense to get a car like this for your family. The part of this brilliantly designed package also includes well ventilated brakes and ceramic rotators.

Well, with all that said and done don’t think that you will have to sacrifice the luxury and the comforts that comes with the brand Audi. The plush nappa leather interiors of those sporty seats sets the mood for a great outing, with carbon fiber trim and shift paddles are made of all aluminum. The dashboard is decked up better than the older version, R6 and the steering wheel is significantly a flat bottom one.

Of course, as the saying goes quality comes for a price and here Audi RS6 Avant is no exception. The price slightly falls under the $100,000 tag though, nevertheless it does what it says it will do. In spite of the hefty sum involved to own this “furious wonder on wheels” still it makes sense considering the amount of space, comfort, safety and luxury that comes bundled with it. For your family it just might be the next family wagon, but for you, I bet it will be an all time passion. And the best part is, you can live your passion without burning your pocket. Just get one on hire today.

Headbanger Audi R8 On Its Way!

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Not for the feint hearted this one…….

Ok, so we all know Audi’s spectacular R8 is a bit of a machine - and we also should know that they are nigh on impossible to get hold of unless you only work saturdays, on a field with 48,000 people watching you!

But they’ve gone one step further - in typical Audi fashion

You didnt think the S4 was quick enough? - You got the RS4

You didnt think the S6 was quick enough? (get some help!) - You got the RS6

You see, Audi have always done it. The minute you thought they had build the ultimate Porsche eater, they went too far.

S2 - RS2

We dont need to go on. Suffice to say - Audi are a bit like that funny young lad down the pub, great fun, easy to get on with until he has a drink……then you have an RS

So, they are going to do it with the R8. We are now going to get a V10 (no its not a lambo or RS6 engine), we are going to get 520 BHP which means we are likely to get very low 4 second 0-60’s

If the price is sensible, this is going to be the joyriders R8.

Bring it on!

Audi Lease - Why are they so good?

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Over recent months, Audi have become more and more agressive with their leasing products, and yet this would seem a strange move, for a multitude of reasons.

Audi have almost always maintained supply, just less than demand. For example with an Audi TT, everyone has to go on the waiting list. To this effect, there is a certain amount of prestige available from waiting for a car.

Keeping the vehicles always in demand has one major influence on the leasing costs - While the vehicles are in demand, the residual value of said vehicle remains with strength.

Once a couple of years have passed, with the RV’s (residual values) holding strong, it is now time to start pushing the vehicles heavily into the leasing market (because you only pay for the difference between invoice cost and residual value).

The added bonus to Audi has been that more and more, car manufacturers are moving toward supply on demand, and not stock piling. This brings everybody else inline with their delivery timescales, so if you want a BMW 1 series instead, you will still have to wait for it now.

The same applies to Golfs,Leons and alike.

Provided car manufacturers continue to stretch delivery schedules for vehicles, removing the option for the customer to stroll into a dealership and pickup an alternative, Audi will continue to flourish in the personal and business leasing world. I have even seen prices for A3 Hatchbacks at less than £200 per month!!!

At least this article give an insight as to why.
